To the family of Generosa I am sorry for your loss of this sweet loving woman. I met her years ago at the Farm Stand at WBZ and she was a love. As a listener of WBZ over the years I would always look forward to her calling in saying Friday Friday. What spirit she had and a love for life. You were all truly blessed to have her in your life. Dear Fran and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and to all who knew Generosa. She was not only a lovely lady but a radio personality and an interesting character in her own right. She was one of David's favorite radio friends and a constant ray of sunshine in his life. David always wanted to go to her 100th birthday but was not able to make it. My love and best wishes go out to all the family.
Sincerely, Pat Maynard

To the Family of Dear Generosa,
I have been a long time WBZ listener and looked forward to "Friday Friday" every week. She always brought such cheer and humor across the air waves. You were so lucky to have had such a wonderful mother/grandmother/greatgrandmother! She lived a long and wonderful life and now may the angels welcome her with open arms and let her rest in eternal happiness.

You were truly blessed to have such a warm woman in your life. I am sure you will miss her greatly. We all enjoyed her calling into WBZ every Friday with her signature line.....FRIDAY FRIDAY. We also enjoyed her calling about her paperman coming down the hall and she would try to catch him....... Your mom gave those of us who do the overnights some good memories and laughs. She will be missed by many.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Generosa's family. I did meet her years ago (maybe in the '80's?) at one of Dave Maynard's Farm Stands, possibly in Wilmington. I felt like I was meeting a star, she was such a fixture on WBZ. It was a pleasure to hear her on the day she was designated to call, always with her "Friday Friday" greeting. (I'm sure she would have called every day if she could have!) She did always had some kind of uplifting message or kind words that left you with a good feeling. May God reward her for all the good she has done on earth!

Laurence and Frances, I am so sorry for your loss. My dad, Daniel Bianchino, is your cousin and he also sends his condolences. I met Josie just a few times and she seemed very sweet. She had a great spirit and I'm sure she will be deeply missed. Her brother, Americo, was my grampa so now I'm sure they are all together having a great feast! Our prayers are with you.
-Christine(Bianchino) Thompson
