Brian, I am deeply sorry for the death of your beloved Mom. You were a wonderful son and there when she needed you the most. You and your brothers suffered her ilness along with her, perhaps more because you saw the relentless progression of dementia. Your Mom probably didn't see what was happening- but you did ; as a caregiver, with a profound sadness at the changes brought about by her ongoing losses. Be strong, remember your Mom as she would want you to remember her- vibrant, loving and whole. She is in a better place, with friends and angels. She is at peace and resting well. Love, Linda

My heart goes out to all of you as you grieve the loss of your devoted mother, grandmother and wife. I loved the sentence you wrote "her greatest joy was caring for and nurturing her family...." I know this is true from Brian's stories and memories of growing up during more carefree days. She hsa left a wonderful legacy behind in three children and grandchildren. Her love and nurturing was returned by all of you when she most needed care. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead as you grieve, comfort each other and celebrate a life well lived.<br>Catherine Watts
