Grandpa, it is always hard to let a loved one go. You were one in a million!! I have so many great memories with with both you and Babcia, obviously too many to write, but they will always be in my heart. Some of the best were when I was a kid and I would spend Saturdays over and during the day I would be in the garden with Babcia and then I would come in the house and talk to you while you played solitaire on your board in your sunroom and after dinner you would make popcorn and we would watch Lawrence Welk. Then Bapcia would make a big breakfast and everyone would come over for Sunday dinner. You introduced me to your hobbies . . . art, stamp collecting, coin collecting and even mushroom picking! I even look back at the great times we had up the beach every year for our vacations!! You were a very hard worker, and very proud of your family, and your country . . . It's time for you to rest now and join Bapcia your true love. We will miss you but you will never be forgotten!! Love, Barbara

Carol, I am sorry for your loss of a wonderful father! Your Dad was an impressive man, gentle in soul and loving in heart. Every time I eat a poached egg I think of him - "Make sure it's not overcooked and there's no water in it." His ability to still paint in his latter years amazed me - as I have little artistic ability or skill for painting at mid-life. He will be missed greatly at MVH by many. But his beautiful smile will live in our hearts forever. Hugs & blessings! Rev. Genise Knowlton-Stern
