Frank L. Acinapura
PEABODY-- Frank Louis Acinapura, of Peabody, MA formerly of Paramus and Union City, New Jersey, entered into peace on 5/4/2013. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Betty Hahn Acinpaura and once again is dancing with her.
He was most proud of his family and is survived by his son, Paul, his wife, Rosalie and grandson Micah Acinapura of NYC, his grandson Gabriel Acinapura and his wife, Liz, of Chicago, and his daughter. Beth and her partner, Maria Juliano of Middleton, MA.
He was born in Union City, NJ on 3/12/1919. He was one of nine children of John and Margaret Acinapura. He is also survived by his brother John, and his wife Marilyn of NJ, sister-in-law Moira Acinapura of DelRay Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sisters, Colleen, Rose, Nettie, Isabel, and brothers Joey, Dick and Paul.
He proudly served his country in WW II with General Patton’s 3rd Army in the 119th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion. He turned that service into a distinguished career with the United Nations in NYC. He was one of the original hires in 1946 and was proud to be a member of the Mohican Club of the United Nations.
Funeral arrangements are private through Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody MA. Frank will be held in loving memory by his family and friends.
