Henry was as fine a human being as I have ever met in my 82 years--although through a business relationship I enjoyed a personal attachment to him, Trish and Melissa here in Byfield over the years. All of you who are related to him can be very proud of the ultimate Gentleman that he was---May he rest in Peace. George Vlahos, byfield.

Henry earned my preeminent respect as I observed him in his interactions with one and all, and, of course, particularly with me. He was always so gentle and sincere, engaging in the goings-on of my life and listening intently. I never knew him to complain about anything, much less his health. Henry had a warm smile whenever I saw him, and I appreciated his welcoming disposition so much. He was a safe harbor. I feel blessed to have known someone of his gentility and courage. The world has lost a prince of a man.

Henry and I were classmates at PHS and denizens of the Wilson Square area. I was happy to chat with him and Marie most recently at our 51st-year reunion last October. As a reunion organizer, I speak for several of his old school friends in saying that we will always remember him as an easily likable, polite and good-natured friend. Please accept our sincere condolences.

I have known Henry all my life as we grew up next door to each other. He was just enough older that those of us younger (especially the girls) kids were sort of awed by him and his friends . . . they were all so cool.<br>He was the consummate gentleman and gentle man. He will be missed and remembered by many. He was lucky to have such a close and loving family who embraced him and were at his side not only during his illness but always.
