Obituary of Henry E. Pabisz
Henry E. Pabisz, 69, of Byfield, MA and formerly of Peabody, MA, died early Thursday morning at his residence with his family by his side after a year long illness. He was the loving husband of Marie Patricia (Donohue) Pabisz with whom he shared eight years of marriage. He was first married to the late Patricia (Byrne) Pabisz who died in 2001. Henry was born in Peabody, MA on November 6, 1943, the son of the late Edward and Mary (Zastowsky) Pabisz and was raised and educated here graduating from PeabodyHigh School in 1961. He attended LowellTechnicalSchool for a year before joining the General Electric Co., Lynn as a Planner for 47 years prior to his retirement 4 years ago.
Henry loved gardening, both in vegetables and flowers and enjoyed cultivating and seeing them grow to harvest. He had been a history buff and loved to read up on the different American Wars. He also enjoyed the outdoors and loved taking walks and trips around New England and Europe. Henry was blessed with a great sense of humor and dry wit and enjoyed watching the Three Stooges . He is survived by his wife, Marie, his children, Debra Stevens and Diane Moustakis both of Peabody, and Donna De Ciccio of Rochester, NH, his siblings, Suzanne and her husband Donald Slack,, Mary Jane Pabisz, Melanie Pabisz and Franklin Pabisz all of Peabody and John Pabisz of Amesbury, his seven cherished grandchildren, Melissa Farr , Jacob and Joshua Stevens, Aaron and Abagail Di Ciccio and George and Kassandra Moustakis, a special nephew, David Pabisz and his wife Michelle of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Doreen Farr,
A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. His funeral will be held on Monday at 8:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the BaptistChurch, 16 Church St., Peabody at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in CedarGroveCemetery, Peabody. If desired, donations may me made to the US Figure Skating Memorial Fund, 20 First St., Colorado Springs, CO 80906 in his memory.
