Everything happened so fast. I'm so very sorry that I couldn't make it back home. My love and condolences to my dad, sisters and cousins. I use to visit my Uncle and my Grammy (Mary Espinola) every other weekend and would help my Uncle Leo in the garden, especially digging up the back part of the yard for grapes, and on some woodworking projects he had at home. (just sanding) He also had a great love of books which he shared with me. Lots of great memories. Loved him and my Grandmother so much and I'm sorry I didn't get to see my Uncle Leo one last time. Love and condolences go out to all my family and Uncle Leo's friends. Love and miss you, Arty Espinola

Arthur and Family, We are sorry to learn of the death of Leo,who like you and Conrad, were big brothers to me and my sister Dolores when we lived in the same house on Northend Street. Michael, I helped your mother when she brought you home from the hospital, and Pamela,my mother Maria Amaral was your Godmother. We still sent Christmas cards to Leo and have enjoyed the Peabody Centennial miniature chair he made for me and the half hull model of the America's Cup sailboat he made for Roland. We will now treasure these memories of him even more. Arthur, I have photos of you and your mother that I would like to send to you. Please contact me. Love, Ruthie (Amaral) and Roland Tripp, Cary, NC
