Dad, you were an amazing father. There are so many memories that I could share, but this one memory of when I was very young displays your Love for family, your patients with issues, your understanding of learning and your intelligence with problem solving. I was no more than 4 or 5 years old and Dad Loved fishing and couldn't wait to take me. He bought me a Zebco push button reel and rod, gave me a crash course on casting it and off we went. He had me stand on the bridge over the Ipswich River to fish for his favorite Trout. I pushed the button in, tried a cast but the line wouldn't come out. It was my fault, I was forgetting to remove my thumb from the button when casting and Dad new that was the issue. He chose the wrong words to correct my problem. He told me I had to let it go. So yup the next cast I let the rod go and into the river it went. Oh did I think I was in trouble. Nope, Dad put his rod down went back to the car, got his anchor and rope out, tossed the anchor off the bridge to one side, walked down to the river on the other side, dragged the anchor across the river, and sure enough the rod came up with it. Dad then took me to the side of the river and repeated the crash course with me till I was casting it right all the time. We then went back to fishing and brought a few trout home. He was always there for us no matter what it was for. Dad I Miss You.

My Brother,
I will cherish all the memories of our life together. From our childhood (cold water flat) to our camping and fishing trips, family parties and vacations together. We have such a strong bond as brothers and family. One of my cherished Hilton Head Island memories was watching you from the villa as you stood alone on the walking bridge that overlooked the lagoon speaking to your twin brother remembering him fishing.
I found a quote that is so fitting in your last days with us "You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have". You were so amazing full of love that you never stopped smiling as you said your goodbyes to your loved ones. Look down on us my brother with that smile. Ma and Eddie are waiting with open arms.
One day we will meet again.
I love you so much your younger brother.
Richard
