My condolences to Jim, Richard, Jr., Cookie & the extended family on the death of Richard. I was surprised and yet, not so, because of his long-term illness. Am sorry that I was unable to see Butch for years and even now but circumstances have been such that I've missed being with him all this time. We were close as kids, although distanced during adulthood. I guess that happens sometimes. I will miss the occasional phone calls & Cookie always saying: "Richard, your aunt is on the phone!!!" although we were really cousins. Be at peace, Burch. Am glad to have known you. The troublesome things we did together as wee kids visiting on Kidder St. in Manchester, NH, were fun, although our parents didn't think so, & particularly, nor did your grandmother, Cecile, although I don't recall ever getting a scolding for them. Thanks, Butch, for the memories. I don't think anyone in your adult life remembers that we did call you BUTCH way back when...
