Uncle Dave and Aunt Nancy always made me feel at home and welcome when I was around them . . . even though I never really knew when your Dad was being serious or joking! Praying for you, Susan and Sharon. Glad they're both "at home with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:6-8) Love & tears from California, LB

Dear Susan and Sharon,
We were so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. You, Mom and Dad were like family. We remember the lobster suppers we would have at your house in January! We were always amazed that Mom and Dad would invite us for lobster in January! Our times at church. Church suppers were always a good time. Dave made his presence known. It was always a fun time when Dave was around. Me miss you all!

David's passing ends an era in which he served as the "Town Crier" who informed old friends, most of whom moved away, about news from home often sharing nostalgic pictures digitized from his vast collection of 35 mm Kodachrome slides.

David was a friend, period!! We are of the same age, enjoyed growing up in
the same church - in Peabody. David and Nancy showed their gift of hospitality to us many times as we visited from the West coast. Rest, David, in the presence of your Lord and Saviour! John/Jan Sinkevitch, Stanwood WA 10/10

My heart is heavy with sorrow in the passing of my younger brother but knowing he is in the presence of Jesus eases the pain caused by his sudden passing. Dave and Nancy were the ultimate host and hostess for any visitors that passed their way. His time on earth was up and Jesus called him to his Eternal Home to join those who have gone before. Will miss you Dave.
