Dear Karen - There wasn't a weekend day during the summer that I could not count on the fact that you and Jim would come by my boat on the way to "Big Daddy." Jim always with his cooler in tow and a big hello on the way by. His face always said "it is so great to be here at the dock." Everyone knows how much he loved being there. He was so able to easily express what so many of us that spend our time on our boats feel when we are there. Thank you Jim - I will always think of you when I am at the dock. Best - Don Harris

My sympathies for your loss. Jim was a great man that I always enjoyed interacting with. He had an easy going personality, strong work ethic, and a great sense of humor. Over the last ten plus years I worked with him at EBSCO on the many sign projects that the campus required. We always got the work done in a timely manner, and managed a few good laughs in the process. We are all better for having known him in any capacity great or small. I KNOW he is now in a better place forever enjoying BOAT DRINKS

My Condolences to Karen and the rest of Jim's family. I joined Ebsco in 2002 and Jim was one of the first people I met. He quickly became a friend due to his being a real, kind person and remained a friend due to his having such a big heart, humble nature, low keyed sense of humor and deep well of compassion. Fear not Karen-people such as Jim are never truly gone as they remain always in the hearts and minds of friends and family members who knew him. I sincerely hope there is a large well stocked cooler and boat mooring with Jim's name engraved in gold on it waiting in heaven. We salute you Jim-your presence will not be forgotten.

We will hold these memories close to our hearts as this great man will be missed by so many. We will miss you Jim on " BIG DADDY". Love Nancy & Gary
