We were so happy to be a part of "Wild Bill's" memorial service. It was wonderful to meet Bill as his family knew him. We neighbors knew him as the person who always looked out for everyone else. Who would wait for trash pickup so he could give them a cold drink in the summer and always $5 each! He is the only person we know who would bring a box of chocolates to the town hall while paying taxes! He bought us Sangria and then always found a reason to come visit if only just to see how Sugar(the cat) was doing or to bring us the mail and of course he would stay awhile! A couple times we came home and there he was sitting at the kitchen table "I just wanted to check on Sugar" he would say! Bill did not need a lot to make him happy but he appreciated every little thing and everyone. The neighborhood will never be the same. He is loved and missed. We are sure he is very busy now making friends with ALL of HEAVEN!
