We always had fun with Uncle Bobby at his house, at his camp, on his boat, or at family reunions in our parents' backyard; his presence was booming, and we loved it; rest in peace, Uncle Bobby, and thank you for your service to our country.

Dad: We buried your body today, but you were already with Grammy Dot and Grampy Sam, Ronnie and Jimmy and others who went before you. And you're with us here now and always in spirit and memory...wonderful memories that we'll keep forever, of your honor, integrity, humor, kindness, and passion for the people you loved and the things you did. I have always been proud to call you my Dad. I wish...we all wish...we could have had just one more day with you, to maybe hear stories we hadn't yet heard, or hear you say again things we've heard many times before. We'll be with you again some day. Wait for us, and Debby and Nancy and I will climb into the car with you to help you find that loodle-laddle for a goose's braddle. I love you.

I have many memories of Bob - his humor, his intelligence, his fair nature and his many jokes. One afternoon years ago he tried helping me to water ski. I never did get the knack but I remember Bob never giving up on me. He was a wonderful man. Sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.

I so wish I knew that the last time I spoke to you would be the last time I would ever speak to you. There's so much more I would have said.

You have left your family with so many great memories that will always make us smile, but what I love the most is how the first thing that comes to mind when everyone recalls their personal memories of you is your wonderful laugh.

I love you Daddy, and I miss you more every day. <3

We shared a lot of good times and our family will always have warm memories of Bob from camp. He was very kind to us when we were new campers and always there to lend a hand or give advice or a project. And shared his passion for a fast boat ride. Our thought are with your family. rest in peace Bob.
