Obituary of Richard J. "Rich" Faraci

Richard J. ”Rich” Faraci 63, of Rowley, loving husband of Pamela S. “Pam” (Smith) Faraci, died unexpectedly after being stricken at his home on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Rich was born in Chelsea on August 7, 1951 son of the late Cateno and Adeline (Pepe) Faraci. He was raised and graduated from Saugus High School in 1970. He then pursued his education at Belknap College in NH. Prior to moving to Rowley in 1989, he resided in Saugus and Chelsea. Rich was employed for 25 years as a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Fort Point Office in Boston until his retirement in 2013. Rich enjoyed researching history, attending the yearly Indy Car race in St. Petersburg, Florida, bicycling on a daily basis and as hobbies, photography and listening to music. As a parent, Rich dedicated his life being involved with his children and grandchildren following their recreational, athletic and educational achievements. In addition to his wife Pam of Rowley, Rich is survived by his children and their spouses, Christine A. (Stickels) Taylor and Jeremy Taylor of Nashua, NH, Andrew R. and Stacy Faraci of Lexington, KY, and William C. “Will” Faraci of Boston; his grandchildren, Rachael Beauchemin, Drake Taylor and Corwyn Taylor all of Nashua, NH; a sister, Diane L. (Faraci) Johnson of Salem, NH; a brother, Mark A. Faraci and his wife Kimberly of Plainfield, NY; his step-mother, Bernice Faraci of Hudson, FL; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Rich’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. His Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday April 23rd at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made in Rich’s name to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org or Big Cat Rescue, Tampa, FL, www bigcatrescue.com.
