Dear Joan Marie and Pam, I was sorry to read of your Mom's death. She was a wonderful person, as was your dad. My children were always comforted by the presence at North Beverly Elementary. We lived at 3 Berrywood Lane and evenings would often walk the children around the block always stopping to share thoughts of the day with your mom and dad. Pam, I think you may have babysitted for us on occasion.

The last time I saw Mom I was in a restaurant in Gloucester with my mom who I had taken out for an outing from the nursing home. Joan joined us for lunch and we had a wonderful time reminising about the neighborhood and the "old days" I moved to to another home 12 years ago.

I have thought of your mom recently as I've driven by. She was always out mowing the lawn or shoveling. I liked that about her. She did it all! A strong kind woman.

May you be comforted during this most difficult time by wonderful memories.

Sincerely, The Guittarr Family, Gail, Meghan, Casey and Abby
