Deepest sympathy,If I could stop the clock hands and never let them go,to continue with remembering a time that I loved so,A moment of my yesterdays that I would freeze in time, would it really be so awful as to be considered a crime?For I loved that moment endlessly and want to keep it to stay. Endlessly forever in my heart like it was yesterday.Then I would freeze the clock hands and everything would be fine.For I could go on forever living and remembering one moment in time. Dad, Just wanted to send along a special poem for your funeral today, 05 August 2003. May God bless and I will miss you dearly, Love Joyce I thought I saw your face today, in the sparkle of the morning sun. And then I heard the angel say, "Their work on earth is done." I thought I heard your voice today, and laugh your hearty laugh. And then I heard the angel say, "There's peace dear one at last." I thought I felt your touch today, in the breeze that rustled by. And then I heard the angel say, "The spirit never dies." I thought I saw my broken heart, in the crescent of the moon. And then I heard the angel say, "The Lord is coming soon." I thought that you had left me, for the stars so far above. And then I heard the angel say, "They left you with their love." I thought that I would miss you so, and never find my way. And then I heard the angel say, "They're with you every day." Dad, I always told you how much I loved you, and I always knew that I had your unconditional love and support. I have fond memories of time spent with you and I always knew that you would be there for me. I admired so many things about you, mostly your understanding and respect for your many abilities. You were my mentor, my teacher, my strength and my inspiration. I am proud to say that I am who I am today because of you. I am going to miss you a lot dad, but I am sure you are watching over us and that you have already earned your wings and they are golden! A special Poem just for you: God looked around His garden And He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
