Obituary of Charles Spinale
Charles Spinale, 77, in Newburyport and formally of Peabody, died early Wednesday morning at the Country Rehab Nursing Center following a lengthy illness.
Born and raised in Peabody, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Marie (Salean) Spinale. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and attended Peabody Public Schools.
He was a veteran of World War II who served with the United States Army. After the war, he worked in construction and was a foreman and a member of Labor Union local 14, based in Salem.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Chuck E. and Richard A. Spinale, two daughters, Joyce E Snow and Janet A. Spinale; four brothers, Salvatore, Joseph, James, and Frank Spinale; 4 sisters, Lucy, Josephine, Mary, and Eleanor; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility, followed by a Funeral service at 3:00 PM in the Funeral Home, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
