Buxton Lane has lost a treasure with the passing of "Auntie" Sophie. I have such wonderful memories of our youth and the playground that was your back yard and being visited every so often by Sophie who somehow seemed to know when she needed to make an appearance. We had a charmed childhood and felt safe because we knew Auntie Sophie and the other Moms were only a holler away. She has been a part of my life forever, long after growing up and moving away, keeping in touch with visits home and later, through MaryJane, and I am so saddened at her passing. Anty, Philip and Chet (and Lindas), you are lucky to have had her and her alert mind with you for so many years. Lots of memories to cherish. All of you are in my prayers.
