Obituary of Sophie M. Adamczyk

Sophie M. ( Pabisz) Adamczyk died unexpectedly on Friday December 26, 2015. Sophie was born in and lived all of her 100 years living in Peabody. She was predeceased by her loved husband of 65 years, Anthony Adamczyk, and her parents Frank and Maryanna (Kulewiecz) Pabisz. People, friends and family were the focus of her life. An active supporter of the former Saint Joseph's Church in Peabody she was a member of St' Joseph's Ladies Guild, The Holy Rosary Society and the United Polish Organization. She was a voracious reader, known for her sharp wit and was also an avid Patriots fan. She is survived by her three sons; Philip Adamczyk of Peabody, Anthony Adamczyk and his wife Linda of Clifton Park NY, and Chet Adamczyk and his wife Linda of Simsbury CT. Also her grandchildren Michael Adamczyk of Santa Cruz CA, Katherine Adamczyk of Middleton NY, Kristen Adamczyk-Schmieder of NYC, Eric Adamczyk of Surprise AZ and Christina Adamczyk of Glendale AZ and her great grandchildren Alejandro, Felix and Tomas Schmieder of NYC, a sister Cecelia Iwanicki of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Pabisz. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur funeral home at the 82 Lynn St. Peabody facility followed by service there at 1:30 PM.
