So sorry to hear of Dr. Rizzone's passing. I too was a patient of his when he practiced pediatrics and then as an adolescent. When he was the physician at Salem State I served on an advisory board for health services and was able to see him in a different setting. He was so passionate about the health of young people. What a wonderful man. I have often thought of him when in Peabody and going past the house on Washington Street that had been his office. He was one of a kind

I was very sad to read about the passing of Dr. Rizzone. He was the pediatrician for the 4 Quirk children, then our adolescent doctor. What a kind and gentle man. I regret that I have not seen him in years. My mother pointed out that he came to my wedding. My thoughts are with his family

Dear Rizzone Family, It is with great sadness that I learned about the death of Dr. Rizzone. He was my pediatrician from the time I moved to Peabody in 1957 or 1958 all the way through my adolescence. I remember how interested he became in studying adolescent medicine and how it coincided with my own adolescence. He was such a gentle, caring Doctor and I am so sorry for your loss. I was so happy to see him at Anjelica's on Thanksgiving 2 years ago. I couldn't believe I ran into him on a Holiday outing. It was very special to see him again, and I also ran into him at a high school chorus competition at Nashoba where his granddaughter was singing and my daughter was singing there also. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Sincerely, Susan Flanagan
