I'm so sorry that I wasn't at the service. Had I known about it, nothing would have kept me from attending. Having been a member of Jerry's family for 13 years as a daughter-in-law (wife) of his son Paul, I can only say that there are not enough words to express my deepest sympathy to his wonderful wife and my friend Ann, as well as to his family.<br><br>Jerry was such a character, always laughing and joking. He was one of those people that are larger than life. I will always have the fondest memories of the days that I was apart of his family. Being apart of the family was, to me, exciting. There was always something going on, either a famous "Jerry" BBQ, a big holiday gathering, "road trip" to the rack, or a "card night". He and Ann were always very welcoming and kind to me and treated me like a daughter. Ann told me about Jerry's illness and his suffering not too long before he passed. Although I am so very sad at the loss of Jerry, I'm sure he is at peace. I will ALWAYS hold my memories of Jerry and his family very close to my heart. Thank you Jerry for being you.
