How sad we all are that our GranJan, our Janet, has passed away; leaving us here, without her smile and easy laugh, without her kindness and thoughtfulness. But then I think how happy she made my Dad, and I feel grateful, and even lucky to have known her. She loved people, loved to travel and loved gatherings of friends and family, she was quick with a hug, and she cooked and baked and volunteered, through her actions showing us her love and showing us all her commitment to neighbors, friends and family. And we loved her. Without a doubt, the world is a better place because Janet was in it, and now less with her absence. Surely, we are better and happier for having her in our lives.
