My deep condolences to the family. I and my late husband Sonny were neighbors as was your dad along with him being our Redi- Rite Auto Body customer . My late husband also snowplowed your dad`s driveway. I will always remember his kind face & words. I`am also a member of North Shore Corvettes of Ma( hold weekly cruise night here in Peabody) who each Sept pay tribute to the veterans at the E.N. Rogers Memorial VA Hospital thru the Vettes to Vets program. Last Sept 500 Corvettes from NE England & Canada clubs held an annual car show and fundraiser on the hospital grounds. It was our club who with a dozen members started the event 13 years ago. Our chairwoman Karen Blandini continues to lead this massive event that is the heart of the Corvette community. We donate a truck load of supplies to the hospitalized veterans. Our motto "Support Our Troops who have sacrificed so much so that we can enjoy our Corvettes in complete freedom".On behalf of myself & the Corvette community our deep condolences to the family and a big Thanks to you Joe for your sacrifice and service to our country. Rest in Peace.
