Dear Mellicent,<br>For several years I thought of contacting Ed but failed to try till today.<br>I was very grieved to see his obituary- more than I want to say! Yes, he was my senior year roommate in UNH's Sawyer Hall. ( I recall you coming to the ground floor window from time to time). I also recalled you came from Topsfield- that is how I found you.<br>But most of all he was a good and honest man and was one of the very few at UNH I felt I could fully trust with anything!! Always!<br>When he found me in Holliston,MA about 1971 0r 72, I was ill behaved and brief with him!! Something I have not understood over these many years and have been feeling guilty since. Hoping I had not hurt his feelings!
