We were greatly saddened to hear the news of Stephanie's passing. She was not only a wonderful boss and mentor, but also a cherished friend for many years. Even after we had moved to Virginia, Stephanie always received our visits with open arms in her special and caring spirit. She touched so many lives and she will most certainly be missed. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

It is with profound sadness that I receive this news. On behalf of the Brown School (where Nicholas attended elementary school), I extend my deepest sympathy to Nicholas, Danny and the entire Walsh family. Stephanie was one of the nicest. most caring people I ever had the privilege of knowing. She was the epitome of what a mom should be. She was a strong advocate for her children, but did so with ultimate respect. I had many meetings and conversations with Stephanie over the years and after each and every encounter, I always left with a renewed admiration for her. She truly loved her boys and it showed in everything she did. With Stephanie we always felt respected and valued. She was one of the most wonderful parents I have ever worked with and everyone here will miss her greatly. Elaine Metropolis, Brown School Principal

Stephanie I will never forget all the wonderful things I learned from you over the course of our 22 year friendship. You taught me how to be a confident, strong, professional teacher. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your influence helped shape me into who I am today. One of my favorite memories is when Spencer's stuffed kitty got a hole in it and he was upset. You asked for his "kitty", took it into your office and sewed it back together for him. It really meant so much to us. You will be greatly missed by many. Rest In Peace my friend...
