There aren't words to describe my sadness about Uncle Dick's death, especially so soon after Aunt Toni's. I hope that all of my family weather this loss with the love and support of each other. I can't tell you how much I will miss him, and Auntie Toni too. He was funny and smart and always so kind to me. Now no one will call me "the little momma" again. He was the last of his generation of remarkable Hartnett men. But we can take comfort in knowing that he is back in the card game- with my Dad, Uncle Matt, Arnold P. and assorted others. And, at long last, he will see Dickie again.
