Dot was my Dad's secretary and right arm for many years in the Graduate Division at Salem State. He relied on her as an assistant and as a friend. We were both privileged to attend an anniversary party for Steve and Dot. To me, she was motherly, loving, patient. When was my Dad passed in 1989, she was again there as the strong right arm. I loved her, she was a delightful caring lady. My true sympathies to the family and thank you for sharing your Mom. With great respect, Sheila Hawes (eldest daughter of Dr. Vincent Hawes)
