I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I first played trombone with Bob over 30 years ago, and subsequently played in bands with him up for many years. He taught me a lot about being a good section player. Bob played with the Branco/Stamas Big Band on several occasions, and it was always great having him on the band. Bob was an excellent player, a mentor and a great guy. In recent years, June would bring him to see our band Itchy Feet play, and it was always great for us all to see and chat with him. I was proud to call him a friend, and will miss him greatly. You will never be forgotten, Bob!
