Prior to abundant information available on Facebook and internet, Shipmate Harribine kept many of his fellow Navy veterans apprised of ongoing info from the Navy, Congress, Dept. of Defense, and other government agencies. I was one of his corresponding partners. He was a good man, a great shipmate, and had a grip on the pulse of all things military, especially as it applied to retirees. He's been sadly missed since his health began to fail a few years ago. Rest in Peace my valued shipmate and friend. I shall never forget you.
