Dear Mrs. Poulos, George, Val, and Jen, and everyone else in the Poulos family and friends, <br><br>My heart goes out to you for you lost. I remember fondly the times I got to meet Dr. Poulos at your house on Marlborough street and on the Cape. He always welcomed me warmly and with great humor, traits I feel he passed down to his children and certainly the ones I feel with my friendship with George. I still look back and recall seeing him with Calvin, his cat. That image always put a smile on my face, despite the many years that has passed since he had that cat. <br><br>I know very well that words can never replace that sense of loss. The only thing that I have learned is that the qualities he embodied are spread out in the world and will always be with you in the many forms that life reveals. <br><br>With love, <br>Robert Beinhocker
