I want to send my condolences to the family. I want to also let the family know that the obituary should read: Armen the Great Armenian. North Shore LEGEND! Whether he was screaming Defense! Or giving us flying kicks. Armen was a true hero, a man for the people WAY ahead of his time. A kind soul who will be deeply missed by GENERATIONS. My friends and I knew the real Armen as you see from this photo taken in 1999/2000 at the Garden watching the HS B-ball state tournament with another North shore legend and also Armens’ friend/nemesis Willie Tenney. We all rode the train into North Station together and we were sitting with a man that captured our eyes, ears and hearts at a young age and as always Armen didn’t disappoint. We had all also spent some time at Armens home on occasion bringing the areas top basketball players to him to make his day and ours. Truly remarkable, hilarious and one of the greatest basketball minds of all time. We love you Armen.... Fly high our friend.
