My condolences to the Dombrowski family. Bob trained me as a new Boy Scout leader and encouraged me to go forward as a woman in scouting, when it was a very new area for woman. He gave me my green gizmo, which I have to this very day. He always made the program fun and energetic with his quick wit and sense of humor. He truly is unforgettable. God bless and may he rest in peace.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Bob my entire adult life. Working with my dad in the funeral home I remember seeing Bob at St. Mary's in Salem all the time. He was always a pleasure to speak with. Later, I worked with Bob at Dave Gonet's for many years and he would come help out at our place from time to time when we needed some extra help. Bob took pride in what he did no matter the task. He was always professional and very kind to the people we were serving.
My condolences to you Mrs. Dombrowski and to your family. He was a really good guy and I will miss him.

My condolences to the Dombrowski family. I have known his son, David, since grade school. I remember Mr. Dombrowski as a serviceman, a motorcycle enthusiast, an independent businessman, and a man engaged in the social and religious fabric of his community.
When I needed some good solid advice about what to do, how to handle, my father's passing, Mr. D. sat me down and gave me the benefit of his many years' experience with the church and the city, and more advice about how to manage the remembrance after the burial. I have had occasion to pass this advice on, as sadly, at this time in my life, I seem to attend more funerals than weddings...
I understand Mr. Dombrowski was gravely ill with cancer, and that it took quite a toll on him physically. I don't know how he managed to deal with the level of pain and the attendant effects. I am sure that his family suffered right along beside him, and I hope that God will ease your suffering as you remember your father in his prime, and not how he was as he left this world.
