To Nina's family and friends,
I would like to express my deepest condolences to all of you. The world is a little dimmer with the passing of Nina's truly beautiful spirit. Nina was a force to be reckoned with in all the best ways possible. She was passionate about the causes she believed in, caring and giving to those around her, loved by the students, and a beacon of light to her coworkers at the E.C.C. I will never forget the moments, the laughs, sometimes tears, we shared together. Nina was my rock and safe place to land on more than one occasion. Most importantly, I will be forever grateful to Nina, for arranging the adoption of my beloved dog Allie, she knew we were meant to be together, and it is because of her my world was forever changed for the better. Nina will be truly missed, but never forgotten. She was a warrior until the end and I will take all she has taught and shared with me and pay it forward; as she would expect nothing less.
Sincerely Yours,
Terri Randall
Bentley/E.C.C. co-worker/friend

Sending love to Nina she was always very kind. She was a great mother and yaiyai. Keeping her alive in my heart. Sitting out in the yard, gardening, and harleys is how I will remember her. Being so good her family and the dogs whom she treated like her kids. She will be missed. Sunday night rants and our love for tv programs was something we chatted about often. Love you and will miss you. Prayers to all those who lost a great person.

Nina's family, I worked with Nina at the ECC and shared many lunchtimes with her. I loved how she advocated for animals and would go the extra mile to make sure they were treated right. She was so straight forward and told it the way it was without holding back if she thought their was a wrong that needed to be set right. She was lovely and I am heartbroken that such a strong spirit passed away too soon. I hope you all have wonderful memories to help you through this terribly sad time, I know I do. It was a pleasure to have known her and I am going to miss Nina. Andrea Corriveau

I only knew your Mom for a short while Kristina, but I liked her very much. Her "Queen" hat always confused me because I thought she was a fan of the band and didn't realize she WAS the Queen. My deepest condolences to your family, your Dad and sisters and of course you, Kris. I am so sorry.

Working with Nina at the ECC made the days so much brighter. When I arrived 8 years ago, she quickly became more then a co-worker and I am so incredibly proud to be able to call her my friend. She was always there to support me, and the staff knew where to go if they needed an ear, shoulder or just a laugh. I will always miss her beautiful smile and the lightness and laughter she brought to our little cinder block offices. There are no words that can fully describe the hole that her passing leaves in the hearts of all of the ECC staff that loved her. I miss and love you Nina, rest in peace.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Nina since 1997 when I began working at the Bentley school. During my few daily visits to her office I had the opportunity to get to know Nina.
Her passion for pit bulls, motorcycle rides and terrific sense of humor. I enjoyed our conversations and many laughs. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. RIP Queen Nina.

Always loved seeing Nina and working with her to care for her dog love of her life, Fuchsia.
She would do anything to make sure she had all that she needed. She cared for her as well as being an advocate for so many other dogs. I am so sorry for your sadness at this time. We are all better for having someone like Nina in our lives.
Take care

I had the pleasure of getting to know Nina whenever I would go into the ECC office to use their copy machine in my many years at Bentley. We had many many laughs and great conversations. I loved to talk to her about dogs or anything for that matter. Walking into that office and seeing that desk without Nina sitting at it will never be the same.
