Last night I lost my DARLING neighbor of 17 years who became one of my dearest friends in this lifetime and part of my family. I loved her. She was a lookout over my children, a friend to me, a Yia Yia for Amelia whom we had to adopt amidst a tragedy and the TRUE definition of a neighbor. There was nothing she wouldn't do for me, Jeff and the kids. We shared firepits, wine, birthdays, funerals, laughs, tears, secrets, other funny stories just to embarrass the kids lol. I watched her go thru the pain of losing her husband Steve and then I watched her come to LIFE again when she met George and got married. The love they shared was an example of what love looks and acts like. I dont know how my home will ever feel the same again without the one person who made me feel welcomed, accepted and loved. I will truly, deeply miss you my friend. Love you Cindi, may you rest in sweet peace until we meet again.
