I still look for Bessie at the small round table where she like to spend her day. It was the perfect spot to see anyone coming down the hall to visit, or to take part in what ever activity or craft or Bingo game that was going on. She was there the last time I saw her, although not feeling well, she still found strength to share a chuckle with me and give me an eye-roll and a smile. I miss her stories about Sears (we discovered we both worked there a long time ago) and Revere, and Howard Johnsons. She so loved to brag about her family and their interests and accomplishments! All the visiting dogs would go right to her because they knew she had treats in the basket of her walker. One dog in particular, Dexter, would follow her to her room to get a treat if she didn't have any in the basket. I went into her room one last time and saw a dog treat on the dresser- I took it and gave it to someone who delivered it to Dexter. I knew that is what she wanted me to do. It was such a privilege to have shared these past four years of her journey. I will ever treasure the memory of her matchless spirit! Feel our arms around you all in love and comfort. Beth Bevins
