Obituary of Bessilia A. "Bessie" Gauthier

Bessilia A. Gauthier, 91, passed away on August 24, 2020 at Beverly Hospital. Bessie was the loving wife of the late Roland Gauthier. Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna (Brucardo) Caramello and resided most of her life in Peabody. Bessie worked as a printer for Sears for many years. She devoted her life to raising her family, and especially enjoyed being a loving grandmother. Bessie enjoyed bowling with friends and arts and crafts. She is survived by her daughter Judith A. Sinclair and her husband Thomas, two sons; Bradley R. Gauthier and his wife Mary, and Brian J. Gauthier and his wife Felicia, all of Peabody; seven grandchildren, Alicia Sinclair, Steven Sinclair, Nicole Terreri and her husband Eric, Courtney Gauthier, Colleen Murphy and her husband David, Kelly Cormier and her husband Brad, and James Gauthier. She was the sister of the late; Rose, Vincent, Bill, Peter, and Joseph. Following cremation, a graveside service for family and close friends will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 134 Broadway, Lynn MA on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 10:30 AM. Those attending are asked to meet at the main entrance of the cemetery at 10:15 AM. In following the CDC guidelines, all attendees are required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines. The family sincerely thanks the loving staff at Seasons of Danvers, where Bessie resided for the last four years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970.
