To My Dear Uncle Peter:
You taught me to love music at 7 years old when I saw you at the day matinee at The Frolics in Salisbury with my parents. Oh my God, that I will never forget. You tried to teach me to play guitar, (that song House of The Rising Sun will never be the same) LOL Epic fail because I'm left-handed. I couldn't do it right-handed I tried to prove to you I could do it. I can now play left- handed though and that was the first song I learned. I remember the time back in the day, we tried to start a band LOL and being in my parent's living room dancing and singing to the Beatles 'Come Together'. You taught me to take care of myself. When my sister was born, I stayed with you and we waited by the phone together with Carol for my sister to be born. Naming her Caroline after the song "Sweet Caroline" Neil Diamond was an icon in my family. LOL. You loved me unconditionally as I did you. You taught me to love my family, and to love my music. The day you came with Dad to see me perform at Harvey Warfield's benefit concert was the icing of my cake. I wanted to show you and Dad, I did my best because of you. I will forever miss those days of random phone calls just to chat, because you were bored LOL, just to see how I was doing because I knew you cared deeply for me. I am so blessed. You were the Ying to my dad's Yang, I was lucky and blessed to have you both. My heart hurts this week as I mourn the loss of you leaving. I will miss eating Nana's stuffed celery with you on Christmas, sharing a drink and a joke...I will pledge with AnnMarie to do a shot of Jack Daniel's in honor of my O'Connor men. Dad and Grampy would be proud too. I love you today as much as I did at 2 years old when I'd roll my eyes every time you entered the room. (Aunt Lorraine told me that story every time she could, LOL said I had a crush on you since the time I was born) There from you I learned that it wasn't all serious, it was about love and kindness, along with fun goofy happiness. When it is my turn, I'll be having that JD highball with you, Grampy and Dad, you are my guys, my tribe. So, save me a seat. I love you forever dear Uncle Peter. The world will be different without you, but I'll get there someday and reunite with you, Dad and all my family I miss so damn much. I will try to be the best i can in honor you and Dad...Rest in peace dear one, your journey has ended and you deserve peace and tranquility My heart is always yours, as you told me once I am the one that keeps our family together and I will continue to do that as that is what it is all about, FAMILY. I will miss you my loving Uncle and I will do best by you for all of us. See you when its my turn. I love you and I will miss you. Rest in Peace Uncle Peter you earned it and I'll see you when it's my turn. Always, Terry, your loving niece. tao09/29/2020.

"Lightnin", best brother-in-law in the world. Always thinking of others before yourself and looking for the best in people and always smiling and fun. I will remember just hanging out with you talking stocks etc and of course our trips to Cape Cod to check on the Falmouth house with the breakfasts, lunches and sometimes dinners we had, telling our stories and laughing so hard we were crying and carrying on like two teenagers with the radio blaring with great 60's music. Loved every minute. Thanks for taking care of my sister Diane and for my beautiful nieces who I love very much. Most of all brother, I will miss the happiness you gave to all who's lives you touched. Keith

Sending along my sincerest condolences to Peter's family. Always considered Peter one of the nicest people in Lake Shore Park. A bunch of us used to hang out at Browns Pond. R.I.P. Peter.
