We are so saddened to hear this news. Zio (Uncle) Michael was a special uncle that I didn't get to see often enough but when I did, as just last year, a nostalgia filled me with happiness because I was so amazed how much alike he was to my beloved father- John Ferro- a VERY FAVORITE COUSIN of my dad's-- they grew up together in East Boston- the laughs and smiles, unbelievable heart of gold, I loved listening to him talk- so jovial, so genuine, always a smile. I have distinct memories, too much to type out. I wish I could come to a funeral. My mom and I have Uncle Michael & Aunt Betty and family in our thoughts and prayers and feel so devastated and heartbroken...He really was one of the greats. he and dad are up there having a toast smiling down on us

Mike - I miss you already my friend!
I worked with Mike at Land Rover for 12 years - Mike was smart, funny (a quick wit), full of wisdom, and always brightened everyone's day! And he loved talking about his family! Every person who bought a Land Rover from Mike loved him - he was awesome at what he did. I always remember Mike saying to his guy friends "you are a gentleman and a scholar" and he meant it! I am so sad I did not get to see him after he retired. Rest in peace Mike - you were a great man and gave everyone great memories - I know family was always most important to you - your priorities were always in order!

We always saw Mike out on his lawn, riding his mower. The yard always looked great. In recent years, we saw him and Betty out in the driveway with the grandsons. Mike was a great neighbor and a great guy. God Bless.
