Obituary of Maureen Ann Gallant

Maureen Ann (Brady) Gallant, 89, of Peabody, died Wednesday afternoon at the Pilgrim Nursing Home in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Andrew J. Gallant. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kelly) Brady. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1949. Maureen was a loving and devoted mother who enjoyed raising her three sons and later enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and sharing in all their activities. Maureen is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Kathy Gallant of Barrington, IL, Robert and Allison Gallant of Tulsa, OK, and Mark and Martha Gallant of Tewksbury, her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Patricia Brady of Southfield, her beloved 4 grandchildren, Drew Gallant, Mary Marshall and her husband David Kunicki, Gillian Gallant, and Madison Gallant and is also survived by her great granddaughter Ainsley Kunicki and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday February 1, 2021 at 11::00 AM at the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice. All attendees are required to wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing as well.
