Lucky to have been related to such a sweet and caring cousin. When I started going to clubs (New York, New York and The Palace) I was always happy to see Michael’s smiling face! I also felt safe because I knew he was watching out for me, even though he pretended that he wasn’t. When I was making my wedding plans, I knew who I wanted to design my bouquet and flowers because I knew it would be the most beautiful arrangement ever...and boy was it! Every time people look at my wedding pic they are quick to comment on the beautiful flowers. Michael you have always been one of my favs and I will miss your laugh and handsome face forever. I’m glad you are suffering no more...... Please watch over all of us as you always have....

I’ll always remember the first Christmas party at Jay & Michael’s house. It was like the Enchanted village set up in their house! It was truly an amazing site. I told Michael how impressed I was – he told me ‘I have more decorations in the basement – I ran out of places to put them!”. Santa arrived and every kid (there were about 30 of them) sat on his lap and received a giant candy bar – not the regular sized ones but the HUGE ones! The annual 4th of July party was the same – only with squirt guns and super soakers for the kids instead of candy bars. You really have to love people that are that generous and welcoming to all – and I do. Very happy memories that I’ll treasure.
Rest in peace.

I cannot describe how saddened I feel at Michael's passing. He was such a bright soul - honest, loving, kind, talented, funny and smart - a man who had a quick quip and contagious smile for everyone he encountered. The memories are flowing through my mind of the many many, times we would get together at the house or at the Cape and I am giggling through teary eyes. Godspeed and rest in peace Michael - you have so earned this rest. Take good care of us all as you are watching over your family and friends. You are in our hearts forever - and heaven just got a little bit brighter with your light. Prayers for you and Jay and all your family.
