Please accept my condolences on the loss of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Not only was Mrs. Pierce the matriarch of the Pierce family, she had the same role for the generation of kids who grew up on Hog Hill. She always had a welcoming smile for the many children who played or ran through her yard or anyone selling something for a school fundraiser. We were fortunate to have her in the neighborhood. Mr. and Mrs. Pierce had enough children that everyone had a "Pierce" of the same age as a friend. She was a positive influence on many lives. May she rest in eternal peace.
