i will always remember aunt vera having a beautiful smile for everyone, being happy in whatever she was doing, and happy listening to what other people were doing. among other things, she was a talented baker (and shared some great recipes with me), and an avid reader. my daughter, elizabeth, was enchanted by her great aunt when she met her only a few years ago- and she couldn't believe how delightful, funny, smart and engaging she was. may she rest in peace.
