Obituary of Audrey A. (ROWEN) Dalton
Audrey A. Dalton, 49, of Hamilton, wife of David Alan Rowen who died on November 22, 2006, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday March 30, 2007.
Audrey was born on July 5, 1957 in Salem, daughter of Kenneth R. Dalton of Beverly and the late Barbara L. (Stewart) Dalton. She was raised and educated in Beverly and moved to Hamilton in 1989.
Audrey was presently employed as a process operator at Eastman Gelatine Corporation in Peabody a position she held for the past 20 years. Audrey and David shared 25 years together and lived for each other, their children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to Mohegan Sun, flea markets, yard sales and antiquing.
In addition to her father Kenneth and his wife Claire Dalton of Beverly; she is survived by her 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Christina and U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Glenn Litchfield of Virginia Beach VA, Jennifer and U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Nicholas D’Orazio of Byfield and Alix Rowen of South Hamilton; her siblings and spouses, Kenneth Dalton Jr. and Amy Dalton of Georgetown, Jonathan Dalton Sr. and Tammy Dalton of Peabody, Jessica and Matthew Roberts of Salem, Dennis Dalton and Terena Dalton both of Beverly; 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, and Maegan Litchfield of VA and Andrew D’Orazio of Byfield; her mother-in-law, Mary F. Rowen of Peabody; her brother-in-law and his wife, Dennis Rowen and Kathleen Mahalares of Peabody; a dear friend, Susan D’Orazio of Byfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday April 4, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. (new location) Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Burial in Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers MA 01923.
