Even a year after Joanne's passing, she is still sorely missed and in my thoughts often. She was the most sincere, sweetest person, who always had a smile on her face. One of my best memories with her was when her son, Tom, and I went to Fort Lauderdale to vacation with Joanne and Al. Got to spend a lot of time with them and made some wonderful memories.

I grew up next door to the DeSisto's with Joanne's daughter Laura as one of my dearest friends for many years. I was so completely shocked and saddened to hear of Joanne's sudden passing. I thought she looked amazing when I last saw her, and can only reason that G-d needed her at this time for something very special. Laura, I'm so sorry I am away and can't be there for you now, but my thougths and prayers are with you all.
With much love and sympathy
Lori and Tony Salema

I worked with Joanne for many years at John Hancock in Andover. We sat side by side in the same cubicle in the Eligibility Unit working on a student project. She was a wonderful co-worker and friend and an all around nice person to know. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this very difficult time.

Joan worked for me at John Hancock for a few years. I remember her as a very beautiful person inside and out. She always had a smile on her face and always had good things to say about others. I deeply saddens me to know that she is no longer with us. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
