Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. We will certainly miss her thoughtful, caring ways. Our only comfort is that she is at peace with the Lord and her family that has gone before her.<br>Love, Richie and Lois

Aunt Maria was a kind and gentle woman. Never an unkind word spoken...I could count on a thoughtful birthday card from dear Aunt Maria. A wonderful friend and sister-in-law to my 'Nana Amaral'. They'd sit together at Peabody events and family gatherings. I didn't know Aunt Maria worked at Webber's too! I remember seeing her at Higgins when I attended there. Dear Beth, Jimmy, Ruthie, Roland... Ed and Jill too...Regina and Richard... I am sorry I cannot be with you in person to show my love and support. My heart and prayers are with you all.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Amaral for many years, even though I didn't get to see her often. She was a very kind, sweet and gracious lady. I will never forget her.

Thinking of all of you as you honor "Nana" Amaral today and tomorrow. Her sweet, gentle smile in the photos reminds me of her special visits to NC. You'll surely miss her, but she did her part to make the world better by spreading that smile for 94 years! Hugs to all....

Maria and her family sort of adopted us in 1960 when we moved to Peabody from Oklahoma. The whole family welcomed us. Maria with a smile on her face and loving arms. We are thankful to have the privilege of being a part of her life.
