Obituary of Francis V. "Frank" Tannatt
Francis “Frank” V. Tannatt, 60, of Peabody, died Sunday afternoon at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Cynthia (Driscoll) Tannatt with whom he shared over 9 years of marriage.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late John A. and Antoinette (Aibenburg) Tannatt. He was raised and educated in Peabody and attended Peabody Schools.
He worked for the General Electric Company in West Lynn for over 30 years before his retirement 2 years ago. He enjoyed watching all of Boston’ Professional Sports Teams, especially the Red Sox.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Molly Tannatt of North Andover, a step son, Mark Matthews of Peabody, a step daughter, Leah and her husband Scott Vesey of Salem, two brothers, Jack Tannatt and Gerry Smith, both of Glendale, California, and is also survived by two grandchildren, Abby and Amelia Tannatt of North Andover. He was the brother of the late Sharon Gale.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
